Tattoo Fading Balm

How does a Tattoo Fading Balm work? Well, a Tattoo Fading balm works by damaging the top layer of your skin. Alright, sounds pretty bad, but basically, it disturbs the top layer, which is the epidermis, and then causes it to peel away.

This then exposes the next skin layer, which is the dermis. The good thing is, this is where the tattoo is. So, in healing the top epidermis layer the skin forms a scab which pulls away part of the dermis/tattoo layer.

This will cause some of the tattoo to pull away also, which causes fading as the scab falls off. There is no guarantee as to how effective any tattoo fading balm will be for you. Everyone will respond differently. Most people will have no way to know how evenly your tattoo was applied in the first place, and this will have a big effect on the outcome. So a tattoo fading balm can work, but it will not work the same for everyone.
